Behind every good treater there must be an equally good corona generator. That’s why we go to great lengths and take much care in the design and manufacture of the PowerSource II® corona generators.

Our design team pioneered the use of switching transistors (IGBTs) to generate the high frequency output. Using IGBTs increases the electrical efficiency and reduces the heat in the cabinet that can cause thermal overload.

With the development of compact power modules, the PowerSource II® corona generator packs a lot of power in a small, compact unit without sacrificing performance. The proprietary circuitry of the PowerSource II® has eliminated most of the discrete devices in the control module, so the unit is smaller and lighter yet efficient and easy to use. The circuitry also includes multiple feedback features and diagnostic capabilities to insure reliable trouble-free use. With an output frequency of 10-20 KHz, the PowerSource II® corona generator is suitable for either conventional (covered roll) corona treatment systems or bare roll corona treatment systems.

Skip Treat Capability- intermittent treatment that is programmable to meet the line speed and length of treat requirements.
